Hello everyone! I had in the studio a beautiful family for their baby girl's newborn portrait session! Her big brother, who I met for his newborn photos a few years back came to be included in their family portraits as well as some photos with his baby sister. He was such a great big brother posing with his newborn sister.  This baby girl mostly slept for all the images and when she did not sleep we were able to get images with her beautiful eyes open!

 

 

 

A Recent Newborn Girl Session in Jackson, NJ

This beautiful baby girl was photographed in my warm, fully equipped Jackson studio. Her parents chose  soft pinks, florals, and neutral colors, creating a stunning palette — a timeless choice that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on their baby.

For this session, we incorporated:

  • Classic and artful newborn girl set ups
  • Simple, organic posing on a neutral backdrop
  • Close-up macro detail images of tiny fingers, lashes, and toes

When Is the Best Time for Newborn Photos?

The sweet spot for newborn portraits is between 4 and 14 days old.

During this stage, babies are:

  • Sleepier and more relaxed
  • Naturally curled for those classic newborn poses
  • Comfortable with gentle, guided positioning

Because this window is brief and my calendar fills quickly, I recommend reserving your due date during your second trimester to ensure availability.
